BOG BODY: A ONE-WOMAN SHOW

Youtuber and ‘Scream Queen’ Olivia Cordell to Perform the Self-Written Piece Featuring Animatronic Mummy

Social media influencer and YouTuber Olivia Cordell (“Grown-ish”, “Dead Best Friend”) presents her world-premiere solo show at the Camden Fringe this August, marking her first solo piece and first UK premiere. “Bog Body” will launch its fringe tour at Barons Court Theatre as part of Camden Fringe, followed by appearances at The Glitch as part of Lambeth Fringe and at the Etcetera Theatre for Camden Horror Festival.

Barons Court: Saturday 16 August at 1:30pm; Sunday 17 August at 7:30pm [PRESS NIGHT]

The Glitch: Thursday 25 September at 8:30pm

Etcetera Theatre: Friday 31 October at 5:30pm; Saturday 1 November at 3:30pm; Sunday 2 November at 7:30pm

“Bog Body” is an immersive and interactive performance about a forensic anthropologist studying a set of supposedly-haunted human remains found in an Irish bog. During a lecture presentation, she must confront a supernatural enemy and confront her own worst fears. Bog bodies are a real phenomenon: There have been hundreds of prehistoric bodies discovered in bogs across northern Europe, all perfectly preserved, dating back thousands of years.

“Bog Body is a quintessentially fringe production,” explains Olivia Cordell, creator and performer of Bog Body. “It’s intimate, interactive, unconventional, scrappy and versatile. And where do we test the waters with an immersive solo show in the horror genre? At the Fringe.”

Olivia Cordell (known as @theprincessliv) is a YouTuber, writer, producer, and social media influencer known for her horror-themed content. She has amassed over 160,000 followers across TikTok and Youtube for her ‘Sweet and Spooky’ brand. Her self-written webseries, a murder mystery called Dead Best Friend, has over 1 million views and was featured in Film London’s IP showcase UPstream in 2025.

The other creatives attached to “Bog Body” include development director and producer Audrey O’Farrell; director Emily Hawkins; horror artist Libby Morris; and former Amazon and IBM inventor Sean Tracy, who has designed a terrifying animatronic mummy. Designers include James Christensen (sound) and Ben Wendel (lighting).
