Alida Pantone appointed as Executive Vice President of Yes She Cannes
Following its most ambitious and successful Cannes Film Festival programme to date, Yes She Cannes has announced the appointment of Alida Pantone as Executive Vice President.
The strategic appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the organisation. Yes She Cannes continues its rapid evolution from a grassroots initiative into an influential international platform championing women in film through community, visibility, access, and opportunity.
This year marked a major step forward for the organisation, which expanded its footprint via official Marché du Film programming, a collaboration with the Fantastic Pavilion, and a partnership with Stage 32. The landmark year also featured a private Screen International roundtable, high-profile coverage in The Hollywood Reporter, and numerous panels, She Squad gatherings, and curated community spaces that united women across the global screen industries.
Pantone has already played an integral role in this evolution, contributing strategic insight, industry relationships, press support, and a deep commitment to the organisation’s core mission. This appointment formalises a leadership role she has naturally stepped into through her continued advocacy, generosity, and belief in the community’s future.
“This year felt like a turning point for Yes She Cannes,” said Faith Elizabeth, Founder and CEO of Yes She Cannes. “We went into Cannes with more focus, ambition, and belief than ever before, and the response showed us what is possible when women come together with real collective power. Alida has been one of the people helping me hold that vision, sharpen it, and push it forward. She brings intelligence, connections, clarity, generosity, and heart, and I’m incredibly proud to welcome her as Executive Vice President as we build the next chapter.“
“Witnessing how much this community has grown since 2018 has been incredibly special,” said Alida Pantone, newly appointed Executive Vice President. “After over a decade of coming to Cannes, this was the most impactful edition I have ever experienced. Meaningful opportunities rarely come from a single meeting, they come from community, and from people who show up consistently to see others succeed. My core love for this community remains exactly as it has been since the seed of Yes She Cannes was just an idea. Building on my work with the London Rolling Film Festival, I am thrilled to officially step into this role to keep organising, connecting people, and facilitating career-changing opportunities for women in cinema.“
Moving forward, the organisation plans to strengthen its international partnerships, scale its global community, and create more tangible career opportunities for women across all sectors of the industry.
