TOTÒ E DAIANA (Calcio, caffè e Fish & Chips) awarded best web serie

The British-Italian sketch comedy “Totò e Daiana  (Calcio, Caffè e Fish & Chips)” has been awarded 4 different prices at the Digital Media Fest 2021. (http://www.digitalmediafest.it).

The Digital Media Fest is the first official Italian Festival exclusively dedicated to web series. It will take place in Rome from the 10th to the 12th of December.

The web serie Totò e Daiana, enriched with new episodes shot during the pandemic, has been awarded in Rome last Sunday as “Best Comedy-Story” in the category “Web Series”.

It also won the “RID promozione radio” Award, the “Toronto Web Fest” Award and the “Rio Web Fest Award”.

This is what the creators of the web serie, Anna Elena Pepe and Marco Gambino, declared after receiving the awards: “We are delighted with these prestigious awards from such an important festival. Best Comedy-Story gives us pride because ours is not a comedy with separate sketches but a series with a progression that, while making people laugh, is based on the friendship between Totò and Daiana that grows and evolves during the episodes. It is a character based story. We are also honored with the Radio RID award that will support us in promotion and post-production. Finally, we can’t wait to fly to Rio and Toronto who have chosen us for their festivals as a direct selection of the digital web fest!”
