RIDDLES OF DZOOM
A new webseries shot internationally during lockdown.

Rachele Fregonese/ FRERI productions, and Alida Pantone/ PAL Productions announce that the first episode of RIDDLES OF DZOOM, the webseries shot across 3 countries during the COVID 19 Pandemic, will be released on 31 October 2020 on social media.

The story it’s all about a riddle…and a secret no one wants to tell. During lockdown 6 girls receive an email inviting them to an online reunion of their high school group “The Brunettes”. The meeting quickly turns nightmare when they’re presented with a game and a riddle. It’s time for the truth to be out, and if they don’t play….they die.

The format of the series is created specifically for social media, and was shot remotely. Each actress would shoot from home using the equipment they had available. Leading them remotely to get the best video quality possible was Director of Photography AJ Lamb, while director Rachele Fregonese directed the actresses performances. 

“When covid hit and our industry stopped”, says creator and director Rachele Fregonese, “I wanted to make the best out of such a surreal situation. We were only allowed to work from home, so suddenly location did not matter anymore, and I could work with virtually anyone across the Globe. What a wonderful opportunity to push the boundaries of storytelling! During a filming day I was in Italy,  directing Giulia who was in Los Angeles while Aj Lamb was supervising the technical side from London.”

“Riddles of Dzoom” stars Rachele Fregonese (Letitia), Alida Pantone (Charlene), Annie Knox (Fay), Kelly Juvilee (Greta), Inna Bagoli (Iris) and Giulia Lupetti (Zelda).  

The music will be created by composer Emilio Merone.
