London Rolling Film Festival: the Jurors
BBC, SKY, CHANNEL 4 producers and international film critics among the jurors of the 10th edition of the London Rolling Film Festival.
On the 7th of February 2020, the X edition of the London Rolling Film Festival opens at the Rileys Sports Bar in London Haymarket. An exclusive VIP opening night will be held at the Virgin Lounge on the 6th of February.
The program has been announced and now the Jury is unveiled:
Rita Di Santo (President of the Jury) is Vice President of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI). A Doctor in Literature, she worked as assistant lecturer at University, a programmer of festivals, script developer, a film reviewer for various national newspapers, and was a former editor of 35mm. She moved to London in 2000, and has been writing for the British press since then (The Guardian, Daily Mirror, The Tribune, Morning Star, Cultural Matters), whilst working as correspondent for Cineforum and Il Manifesto. She is a member of the UK Critics Circle and a member of the Awards Committee. She is a contributing author for various publications, and has served on several juries at film festivals, such as Venice, Moscow, Cannes, Toronto and Berlin.
Bob Clarke has been working in British broadcast television for over 30 years. He started as a VT Operator using 1 inch and 2 inch tape. He then became a telecine colourist before becoming an editor for the next 25 years, editing shows for all the major broadcasters. Bob had his own post production facility, based in Soho but for the last 14 years he has directed, produced and executive produced programmess mainly for Sky television. He currently is producing an entertainment show for Sky One, What’s Up TV which is in its 17th season, a spoken word show for Sky Arts, staring Benjamin Zephaniah and a documentary for My 5/Channel 5, Prison Kids. He is also the CEO & Founder of MAMA Youth Project and the Managing Director of Licklemor Productions.
Mary Wild is the creator of the Projections lecture series, applying psychoanalysis to film interpretation. She is a regular feature of the Freud Museum public programme, and co-hosts the Projections Podcast with Sarah Cleaver.
Mike Smith has been executive producer on over a hundred hours of factual TV for BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Four, Channel Four and Sky One. Credits include: Simon Reeve’s award winning Sacred Rivers; Rageh Omaar’s The Ottomans (winner of the Voice of the Viewer and Listener Award for Best TV Series), Melvyn Bragg’s William Tyndale: The Most Dangerous Man in Tudor England; Bettany Hughes’ Genius of the Ancient World; Simon Sebag Montefiore’s four series in Rome, Vienna, Spain and Istanbul; The Silk Road with Sam Willis; Other commissions include Javone Prince’s The School That Got Teens Reading and Mark Gatiss’ Gay Britannia Monologues, The Art Lover’s Guide. Channel 4’s Jump London and Jump Britain and Big Art.
Giulia Lupetti has been working in the entertainment industry as an actress for nearly a decade, with some of the very best Directors in Italy and in the world like, Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick), Ben Stiller (Zoolander 2), Bret Roberts (Mission Possible), Gianluca Gargano (Rapiscimi), Fausto Brizzi, (Come è bello far l’amore) Massimiliano Bruno (Viva L’Italia), Barry Morrow (Condemned To Love), Volfango De Biasi (Natale col Boss),Cristiano Bortone (Le dieci regole per farla innamorare) and more. Giulia is also an awarded Producer and Director (“Memento Audere Semper”).

The London Rolling Film Festival is an unconventional mix of a film night and an industry networking event.
Its main purpose is to showcase talented filmmakers and facilitate synergies and future collaborations between industry professionals at all levels. It is mainly attended by actors, directors & producers but also music composers, make-up artists, fashion designers and journalists. It’s a vibrant event that’s constantly evolving.
