Let It Stain: A Bold Theatrical Debut at Camden Fringe by InMotion Theatre Company
Making their Camden Fringe debut, multicultural physical theatre company InMotion presents Let It Stain—a dark comedy exploring life, death, and everything in between. The play will be staged at The Libra Theatre Café on 31 July at 7 p.m., 1 August at 6 p.m., and 2 August at 5:45 p.m.
Written and directed by João Braz, Let It Stain follows a woman on the verge of suicide, standing on a bridge and ready to let go. A man intervenes, offering a conversation that evolves into a surreal journey through the city. Along the way, the pair encounter strangers whose stories—woven through text, movement and music—highlight human fragility, longing, and resilience. As Braz explains, “The show plays with the conventions of love and subverts them, creating an existential comedy that aims to reveal our naked truth.”
InMotion’s cast and creatives come from a range of cultural backgrounds, and their approach celebrates inclusivity, identity, and individuality. Their expressive style blends physical theatre with a raw, multicultural edge.
This marks InMotion’s London debut after premiering their first piece at Aspex Gallery in Portsmouth in 2023. Their web series OFFSTAGE also received international attention, winning Best Student Series at Melbourne WebFest.
