“Channel Surfing at the End of Days” to Run at Hen & Chickens Theatre

Channel Surfing at the End of Days, a new dark comedy written and directed by Callum Pardoe, will run from 20 to 25 April at the Hen & Chickens Theatre in Islington.

Produced by Friends of David Productions, the production is described as an apocalyptic anthology, combining elements of comedy, drama and surrealism. The piece presents a series of characters in what are described as their final moments before an unspecified global event, offering multiple perspectives across interconnected scenes.

The work draws inspiration from figures such as David Lynch and the music of Joy Division, reflecting an aesthetic influenced by surrealist and avant-garde traditions.

The cast includes Eleanor Cobb, Matt Williams, Natasha Mula and Joe Stanton. Technical design and operation is by Benedict Case.

Performances take place at 7:30pm throughout the run. Tickets are priced at £17.50, with booking available via the venue’s website.

The Hen & Chickens Theatre, located in Islington, continues its programme of new and emerging work with this latest production.
