Unborn Justice
Jel Djelal‘s first film Unborn Justice is a beautifully written short story. There are love, action, suspense, all the ingredients to keep high the audience’s interest.
Curiosity: The film is based on true events (the assault happened in real life to Allen Bendell, who was present at the London premiere with his wife Lisa). The concept of losing a baby was also a personal, sensitive issue for Jel Djelal (writer and co-producer).
In the role of Lisa the lovely and talented Sarina Taylor, wife of the well known Roger Taylor, drummer and vocalist of the rock band Queen. With her first performance in a lead role she showed us she is not only a pretty face but a true talented Actress. We are sure we will see her soon in many more roles.
To play the villain, the greek actor Dimitri Raft, who we must mention for his well balanced interpretation.
Unborn Justice has been screened at the Cannes Film Festival short film corner and saw his London premiere at BAFTA, where was acclaimed by a vip and press audience.
The story: Allen, ex special-forces, goes on a weekend break with his wife Lisa, unaware of the surprise Lisa has for him. Lisa ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time, only for her surprise to be short lived. Allen sets out to find the those involved only to realise his target is a high profile organisation dealing in weapons and drugs. Allen is determined to find his man but realise’s the hard way there are more hurdles to overcome before he can get to the world’s most wanted.
