Tindersticks Live at the Hall: An Evening of Melancholic Orchestration

Monday, 17 March 2025 – Tickets: £46-£68

Event starts at 7:30pm, Doors open at 6:45pm

Tindersticks, renowned for their richly orchestrated and darkly beautiful music, are set to perform at the Hall for one night only in the spring of 2025. Since their formation in the early 1990s in Nottingham, Tindersticks have distinguished themselves within the alternative rock scene with their unique sound. Their music combines dense, literary lyrics and melancholic orchestrations, attracting a dedicated cult following over the decades.

Five years after their album “No Treasure but Hope” and three years following “Distractions” in 2021, Tindersticks are returning with their new album “Soft Tissue,” released on 13 October 2024. This concert will likely feature tracks from this latest release, alongside other favorites from their extensive catalog.

The band, which briefly disbanded before reuniting more permanently in 2007, has also been known for their contributions to film soundtracks, particularly in collaboration with French director Claire Denis. This performance promises to be an evocative night of music, appealing not only to long-time fans but also to those new to their hauntingly atmospheric sound.
