Pop-Up-Chaplin! at London Bridge Station

Come and meet Chaplin!

Friday 17th November, from 4pm to 6pm, multiple Charlie Chaplin will make their appearance at London Bridge station to support Southwark’s bid pledge for London Borough of Culture!

People’s Company, a community theatre group based at Southwark Playhouse will animate the London Bridge Station-ticket hall (Down the escalator) celebrating one of Southwark’s brightest stars: Charlie Chaplin.

This year it is 100 years since Charlie Chaplin made the silent movie ‘Easy Street’, based on Chaplin’s early years growing up on East Street in Southwark. What better way to celebrate Southwark’s rich history of culture, and supporting the borough application for London Borough of Culture than participating to this unique Pop Up event!
