London based Italian actor Marco Gambino will receive the Crocitti Award for the International Career on December 2nd 2018 at 6pm in the Aula Magna of the Green Park Hotel Pamphili in Rome (Italy).
Marco has distinguished himself over the years for his theatrical and film-television career which has taken place between London (where Marco has been living for almost thirty years) and the rest of Europe. Tireless promoter of his theatrical monologues, Marco has toured Europe reciting his texts in multiple languages.
Attilio Bolzoni, journalist and winner of the È giornalismo Award 2009, will be handing the award to Marco Gambino on the evening of 2nd December. Attilio and Marco are co-authors of the show Parole d’Onore (from the homonymous book by Attilio Bolzoni Einaudi 2007) with which Marco has been touring Europe since 2009.
The Crocitti Award, created by Francesco Fiumarella in 2013, aims to acknowledge the merits of artists working in cinema, TV, theatre, radio, sport, web, and wishes to promote, through those, culture and art in general.
The Award, created in memory of the actor Vincenzo Crocitti, is given to artists and professionals who’s careers stand out in the national and international scene thanks to their professionalism, their talent and their kindness (a quality for which Vincenzo Crocitti was well known for).
