London Rolling Film Festival 7

The 7th Edition of the London Rolling Film Festival is just around the corner, rolling at Lounge 34 (nearest tube Waterloo) from 4:30pm this Sunday 30th October 2016.

The Festival, run by an all female team, is a quarterly event with the purpose of showcasing talented filmmakers and put them in contact with industry professionals as actors, directors, producers but also make-up artists, fashion designers and journalists.

“It’s a vibrant event in constant evolution.” says Founder and Festival Director Alida Pantone, who has announced an appealing international Official Selection and confirmed actress Ellie Torrez as Presenter.

In competition also the first work as Director of Aldo Gagliardi, better known from his works in the Animation Department and Visual Effect of films as Listen to Me Marlon, Avatar, Gravity and Iron Man 2 (just to mention a few).

Guest of the 7th edition of the London Rolling Film Festival “Feature Corner” is Director Tom Paton whose new marketing and distribution company, The Film Label, nurture rising talent to create commercially viable movies for a fraction of the traditional cost. Tom Paton will present the trailer of his latest feature film ‘Redwood‘, followed by Q & A.

New addition to the LRFF7 is the Jury, composed by Luisa Pretolani (Director and Producer at Discovery Channel, BAFTA Member), Tom Paton (The Film Label) and Roberta Licurgo (Cult Film Distribution). A “Jury Choice” will be joining the “Audience Choice” and “Sponsor Choice” Awards.

What distinguish the London Rolling Film Festival is the very well balanced mix between a film night and an industry networking event. The mandatory presence of Directors/Producers in competition, the chilled atmosphere and the involvement of industry professionals, press and photographers makes of it an event not to be missed.

The Free Entry is just the cherry on top of the cake.
